JustGoing (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

This policy applies to our marketing website at justgoing.app and the waitlist feature operated there.

2. Information We Collect

Email Address (Waitlist Signup)

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — used to send you updates about JustGoing’s launch and product announcements.

That’s it. We do not ask for or store your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information at the point of waitlist signup.

Bot Protection Data (Cloudflare Turnstile)

When you submit the waitlist form, Cloudflare Turnstile performs a bot detection check. Turnstile may collect limited technical data (IP address, user-agent) to verify that you are human. Turnstile’s practices are governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over Turnstile’s collection.

Analytics Data (Vercel Analytics)

We use Vercel Analytics to measure page performance and visitor engagement (page views, click patterns, device type, approximate location). Vercel Analytics is privacy-respecting: it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not build user profiles. More information is available in Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used to:

• Send you product launch announcements and updates about JustGoing.
• Respond to any questions or requests you send to our support team.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We will not use your email to:

• Send unsolicited marketing or spam.
• Sell, trade, or share your email with third parties.
• Build a profile for targeted advertising.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Your email address is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption managed by Neon’s infrastructure. Data in transit uses TLS/SSL encryption.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your email has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist and for up to 12 months after the product launches, unless you request deletion earlier.

After your email is no longer needed, we delete it from our systems. Deleted data is removed from production databases but may remain in backup copies for up to 30 days (these backups are encrypted and access-controlled).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access: Email us to see what data we have about you.
• Request deletion: Ask us to delete your email address and remove you from our waitlist at any time.
• Opt out: You can unsubscribe from our emails using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. California Consumer Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, and sold. You have the right to delete personal information and to opt out of the sale of personal information.
