Effective Date: May 14, 2026 Version: 1.1.0
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JustGo platform. This includes the website, applications, and services (the "Service").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you participate as a guest through a shared link, you accept these Terms by submitting your responses. This means your vote, RSVP, or other action. You may not use the Service if you do not agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are 13 to 18 years old, you need permission and supervision from a parent or guardian. Users under 13 cannot use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.
We may verify your age at any time and may suspend or end your account if we find you do not meet the eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
Creating Your Account
To use certain features, you create an account by providing accurate, complete information. Include your name and email address. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You are also responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree to:
- Provide truthful, complete information during registration
- Keep your password secure
- Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised
- Accept responsibility for all activity on your account
Verified Profiles
If you choose to verify your identity through a social media account, we may collect certain information. We will display this information to build trust with other users. You control what information is shared in your profile settings.
4. Guest Mode
What Data We Collect
If you participate as a guest using a shared event link, we collect:
- Your responses to voting and RSVP questions
- The date and time you submit your response
- Your device type and approximate location (from your IP address)
- Any comments or text you submit
We do not require your name, email, or phone number as a guest. If you include personal information in comments, we will store it.
Data Retention
Guest data is automatically deleted 30 days after the event date. Guest data is also deleted when the event is marked confirmed. Whichever comes first applies. If you create an account, you can confirm linking your guest responses to your new account. Your guest data will then be kept according to the rules for registered users. If you do not confirm the link, your guest data will be deleted per the 30-day rule.
Converting from Guest to User
If you decide to create an account, we offer the option to link your previous guest responses to your new account. You must explicitly confirm this conversion. We will then associate your guest data with your account. If you do not confirm, your guest data remains separate. It will be deleted after 30 days.
5. Event Karma
What It Is
Event Karma is a trust score based on your behaviour on JustGo. It is calculated using signals such as:
- How often you RSVP and actually attend events
- Whether you respond to invitations on time
- Your history of confirmed attendance
- Whether your account is verified
- Reports of inappropriate behaviour from other users
Important Limits
Event Karma is not a guarantee of your character or real-world behaviour. It is a platform-specific score. It should not be used to judge your safety or trustworthiness outside of JustGo. We make no guarantee about its accuracy.
Public and Private Display
Your Event Karma score is not shown publicly as a number. Other users may see your verification status or participation history. The numeric score is private. It is visible only to you in your account settings.
Disputing Your Score
If you believe your Event Karma score is incorrect, contact our support team. Request a review. We will investigate your concern. We will explain the factors that contributed to your score. We do not guarantee we will change it. We will review your request fairly.
6. User-Generated Content
Your Licence to Us
When you create, upload, or submit content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it. This includes event titles, descriptions, comments, venue suggestions, photos, or other material ("Your Content"). We may:
- Store and display Your Content on the Service
- Reproduce Your Content to provide the Service
- Create related works to improve the platform
- Display Your Content in connection with event organising
You keep all ownership rights to Your Content. We do not claim ownership. You can use Your Content everywhere. You cannot transfer this right to others.
Moderation and Removal
We do not review all content in real time. We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or hide content that violates these Terms. This includes hate speech, harassment, spam, or explicit sexual material. We can suspend or end accounts of users who repeatedly violate these rules. We will investigate complaints. We will take action in response.
Our community standards are:
- No hate speech, slurs, or dehumanising language about individuals or groups
- No harassment, threats, or sharing of private information
- No spam, scams, or commercial solicitation (except event-related activity)
- No explicit sexual content
- No non-consensual intimate imagery
- Respect others' intellectual property—do not share copyrighted material you do not have permission to share
If your content is removed, we will notify you where possible. We will explain why. You may appeal a content removal by contacting support.
7. Third-Party Booking Integrations
What They Are
JustGo works with third-party booking services. These include OpenTable, Ticketmaster, Skyscanner, and similar platforms ("Third-Party Services"). These allow you to link event planning to external bookings. Book restaurants, tickets, flights, hotels, and more.
Our Role and Limits
JustGo is an intermediary between you and Third-Party Services. We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of pricing or availability from Third-Party Services
- The quality of services provided by third parties
- Failures, outages, or data breaches at Third-Party Services
- Disputes over bookings, cancellations, refunds, or other issues
- Price changes after you receive a quote
If there is a problem with a third-party booking, contact the Third-Party Service directly. JustGo cannot issue refunds or corrections on behalf of third parties.
Data Sharing
To use a Third-Party Service integration, we may share limited information with that service. This includes:
- The event date and type (for example, "dinner for 4 on June 15")
- The location or city
- Preferences you specify in the integration (party size, cuisine, price range, and so on)
We do not share your personal information with Third-Party Services. This includes name, email, phone, and payment data. We only share if you explicitly authorise it in the integration flow.
8. Google Places Data
What It Is
JustGo uses the Google Places Photos API to display venue photographs on guest voting cards. When you select a venue with a geocoded location (identified by a Google Place ID), we fetch a photograph from Google's database and cache the image URL for up to 30 days.
Data We Cache
We store only the image URL returned by Google Places—not the photograph itself, not your personal data, and not any identifiers linking the image to you as a guest or account holder. The cache contains:
- The venue's Google Place ID
- The resolved image URL (or a record that no image is available)
- The date and time the image was fetched
- An expiration timestamp (30 days from fetch date)
Google Attribution
Venue photographs displayed on JustGo are provided by Google Places. Our use of these photographs is subject to Google's terms of service, and we display them under the attribution "Powered by Google" as required by Google. This attribution appears on the venue card visual or nearby explanatory text.
No Image Data Stored Locally
JustGo does not download or store photograph files. We store only the URL. When you view a venue card, your browser fetches the photograph directly from Google's servers (via a signed URL). This means Google may receive your IP address and browser information when you load the image, consistent with their privacy practices.
Service Interruption
If the Google Places Photos API becomes unavailable, unreliable, or discontinues service, or if Google changes its terms of service in a way we cannot comply with, we may remove the image-display feature and revert to displaying the Vibe icon fallback on all venue cards. This would not affect voting or event planning—only the visual presentation of venue cards.
Updates to These Terms
If Google's terms of service change in a way that affects how we use their data, we will notify you in accordance with Section 14 (Material Changes to These Terms).
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or court order
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property rights
- Harass, threaten, insult, or abuse other users
- Spam, scam, or solicit other users (except for legitimate event-related communication)
- Share intimate imagery without consent
- Attempt to access the Service or other users' accounts without permission
- Use the Service to send viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Engage in any conduct that could damage the Service or other users' experience
We will investigate violations. We may suspend or end your account. We will take legal action if necessary.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements (excluding Your Content and third-party content), is owned by JustGo or its licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited right to use the Service. This right is for personal, non-commercial use only. You cannot transfer this right to anyone else. You cannot share it with anyone else.
You may not:
- Reproduce or distribute the Service
- Modify or create works based on it
- Share the Service without our written permission
11. Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC USE.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects will be corrected
- The Service will meet your needs or requirements
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the following:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Special damages
- Consequential damages
- Punitive damages
- Lost profits
- Lost data
- Business interruption
We will not be liable for these damages even if we have been told of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the cause of liability, or €100, whichever is less.
Exceptions
Some locations do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability. These limits may not apply to you.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JustGo is incorporated. We will follow this law without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Informal Resolution
Before pursuing legal action, you agree to contact us. Attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work with you in good faith.
Arbitration
To the maximum extent permitted by law, legal disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration. Arbitration is a private process instead of court. You waive your right to a jury trial. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
We will submit to arbitration to resolve disagreements. We will follow the same rules you follow.
Exceptions to arbitration:
- Either party may seek a court order to prevent misuse of the Service
- Small-claims court disputes are not subject to this arbitration clause
13. Termination
By You
You may delete your account at any time in your account settings. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.
By Us
We may suspend or end your account immediately, without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- You violate applicable law
- We believe your account poses a risk to the Service or other users
- You request account deletion
We may also end these Terms for any reason by giving you 30 days' written notice via email.
Effect of Ending Your Account
Upon ending your account:
- Your account and Your Content will be deleted
- You lose the right to access the Service
- Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13 survive ending
14. Material Changes to These Terms
How We Notify You
If we make a material change to these Terms (such as changes to data collection, Event Karma, third-party processors, or liability clauses), we will:
- Email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect
- Display a notice on the Service
- Require you to accept the new Terms before continuing to use the Service
Non-Material Changes
We may update these Terms for clarifications, typos, or other minor changes without advance notice. These updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
15. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full force.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JustGo regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
17. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@justgoing.app.
